Waywardness

Hosea 14 ⁴ “I will heal their waywardness
and love them freely,
for my anger has turned away from them.

If ever there were a people who continually seemed to make more steps backwards than forwards, it was the Israelites. We read these passages and probably all have the same thoughts…why couldn”t they get it right?!

But who am I to judge. Am I any more righteous? I fall just as they did. But we have two things in common: we fall, then God picks us up!

Thank you God for picking us all up time and time again!
